One of My Favorite Things

I got to do one of my favorite things on Wednesday. My husband came home early, as it was one of his short days. After lunch, we each picked up a book and began reading the first few pages. Then I stopped reading to comment on something in the book and that sparked an hour conversation that ranged from the book topic (marketing to adults) to what we think the hardest thing will be to teach our child with a range of things in between. I love to sit and chat with my husband, who is one of my oldest friends. Even though we have known each other for over 25 years, we still learn new things when we sit and talk. Unfortunately, with our work schedules, those times are rare. But Wednesday was a good day!
